Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Monday - Thursday onsite) Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 About the role We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in Private Equity, SaaS, or Tech startup environments, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. You’ll play a critical role in forecasting, budgeting, and delivering strategic financial insights that support key business decisions. Role & Responsibilities Maintain and refine integrated financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) to generate insights that guide forecasting, planning, and strategic decision‑making Support cash flow forecasting and play a key role in both short- and long‑term liquidity planning through data‑driven insights Collaborate with Accounting to maintain consistency between budgets, forecasts, and reported financials Facilitate operating expense planning, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with cross‑functional teams Leverage NetSuite and other transactional systems for reporting, data extraction, and reconciliations that support FP&A deliverables Enhance FP&A processes, reporting accuracy, and analytical frameworks through continuous improvement initiatives Contribute to the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of FP&A tools and systems Lead ad hoc analyses to support strategic and operational initiatives Foster a collaborative, solutions‑oriented team culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, VC or Private Equity, ideally in SaaS, PE‑backed, or other high‑growth environments Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, scenario analysis, and pivot tables) Hands‑on experience with NetSuite; exposure to FP&A tools or system implementations a plus Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, forecasting, and financial modeling best practices Working knowledge of GAAP to ensure forecasts reconcile with reported results Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders Eltropy is an equal opportunity employer.
