Registered Nurse (RN) & Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Private Duty Company: BrightStar Care of Omaha Location: Omaha, NE Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Pay: RNs $40–$48/hour | LPNs $30–$38/hour Hiring Immediately! Position Overview BrightStar Care of Omaha is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for 12-hour shifts. We are open to hiring one nurse for a full schedule or separate nurses for individual shift packages: Option A (The Weekend Night Package): Friday & Saturday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (24 hours/week) Option B (The Day Shift Package): Tuesday & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours/week) This position offers the opportunity to provide one-on-one skilled care in the home, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of support and comfort throughout the night. Responsibilities Provide direct skilled nursing care to clients in their homes according to the plan of care established by the Director of Nursing Perform and monitor ostomy and colostomy care with accuracy and professionalism Assess and record client conditions, reporting any changes promptly to the BrightStar Care clinical team Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Provide client and family education to support independence and ongoing health needs Deliver care with compassion, respect, and a commitment to excellence Schedule Consistency & Predictability: Steady, recurring weekly shifts locked in advance so you can easily plan your personal life around your work. Supplemental Income or Full-Time Hours: Ideal for nurses seeking reliable part-time weekend work, extra income, or a consistent multi-shift routine.
