This role will support projects from concept through production implementation and post-launch support while driving improvements in safety, quality, manufacturability, and operational efficiency.The Mechanical Engineer will partner closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales and Product Management teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions that support business growth and customer needs.As a member of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that directly enhance our production capabilities and drive continuous improvement across our facilities. This role offers the chance to work alongside skilled professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and support the growth of a company that is a leader in safety solutions.What You'll Do at Justrite:Support new product development across concept, prototyping, testing, production, and post-launch improvementDesign and improve products using SolidWorks and engineering analysis to optimize performance, manufacturability, and materialsPartner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive customer-focused improvements and resolve technical issuesDrive manufacturing and process improvements by analyzing workflows, equipment, and layouts to improve safety, quality, productivity, and costDevelop and standardize processes including work instructions, documentation, and process controls to support operational consistencySupport Lean, tollgate, and continuous improvement initiatives, including problem-solving and efficiency improvements across operationsLead value engineering and cost optimization efforts through design changes, material alternatives, and process improvementsEvaluate tooling, equipment, and suppliers to enhance manufacturing capability and throughputSupport multiple engineering and manufacturing projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and coordination stay on trackPromote safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirementsYour Skills and Expertise:To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or related Engineering field required3–5 years of engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial, or product development environmentsExperience supporting manufacturing process improvement and product development initiatives preferredExperience with fabrication, welding, prototyping, or machine shop operations preferredProficiency with: SolidWorks or similar CAD software, ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Compensation:The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $85,000 to $120,000. Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance.
