Laboratory Technician
Looking to Move from Production into a Laboratory Role?

We're seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing, food production, quality, or packaging experience who are interested in building a career in a laboratory setting. Training is provided, and you'll gain hands-on experience performing testing that helps ensure product quality and safety.
What You'll Do

• Collect and prepare samples for laboratory testing
• Perform routine quality tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Record and review test results following established procedures
• Communicate results with production and quality teams
• Assist with maintaining laboratory equipment
• Support daily laboratory operations and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing, food production, packaging, quality, or a related environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Comfortable working with data, documentation, and testing equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Interest in learning laboratory techniques and quality systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous quality, laboratory, or food manufacturing experience
• Coursework in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean laboratory setting that supports a 24/7 manufacturing operation. You'll spend your shift performing hands-on testing and playing an important role in ensuring product quality and safety.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTAGE, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.26 - $28.96/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
