Job Description

This project-based role involves assisting with the returns of scaffolding at our location. The position requires a hands-on approach to loading and unloading scaffolding returns.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading and unloading of scaffolding returns.
• Lift up to 100 lbs manually.
• Operate a sit-down forklift.
• Manage inventory tasks including counting, staging, stacking, and banding.
• Utilize hand and power tools for assembly.
• Measure materials using a tape measure to the nearest 1/8th inch.
• Visually inspect production for quality assurance.
• Repair bent products as necessary.
• Inspect equipment regularly.
• Maintain a steady workflow to meet workload demands.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand tools.
• Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment is located in a newer facility designed to support business operations in the Midwest. The position is on the first shift, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and requires the use of steel-toed boots. The role involves working with scaffolding products that are returned for disassembly and repair. As a member of our team, you'll be part of a dynamic environment focused on quality and efficiency, competing with leading industry players.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SOUTH HOLLAND, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
