Job Summary The Pharmacy Tech Lead plays a crucial role in assisting the Pharmacy Director in effectively supporting the operations of the Inpatient Pharmacy. This position involves data analysis, project coordination, and leadership support to enhance patient care. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, possess strong analytical skills, and be adept at managing multiple projects. This role collaborates with pharmacy staff and leadership to identify process improvement opportunities and to design and execute targeted initiatives with the goal of improving operational workflow, enhancing practice performance, and achieving high levels of patient and staff satisfaction.

Job Specifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Certified Pharmacy Technician; active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License in good standing; healthcare experience. Experience working in a healthcare setting is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of inpatient pharmacy workflow and clinical practices. Proficiency with computers and knowledge of software applications to include Microsoft Office Suite.
