Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $3120 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
1+ years experience in a level 3 or higher NICU (or 1+ yr PICU).
Bubble CPAP; CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP; Extubation; Intubation Assist.

Unit Details:
Neonate patient population, including critically ill and extremely premature infants in a Level IV NICU with on-site neonatal surgery and 24/7 neonatology coverage.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Every other holiday.
On-call requirement: None.

Floating Requirements:
Traveler will work in both neonatal and pediatrics, depending on need of facility.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
