PROGRAM MANAGER

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external relationships. Program Manager Will Have Financial Controls - assuring Programs are performed within specific Program award budgets Schedule Controls - that assure on time contract performance with the appropriate resources allocated to meet changing contract requirements Contractual Submittals - that assure timely production of documents, reports and program updates per specific contract reporting requirements Customer Relations – Develop and maintain relationship with existing and new customers - Be the face of Valcor to our customer. Other important elements for success are a clear understanding of business, accounting procedures, Quality Assurance practices, contracts, sales techniques and manufacturing procedures. A thorough understanding of engineering concepts and techniques is required A minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex programs, with demonstrated financial skills and excellent communication techniques, are a must. BSME (or equivalent engineering degree) preferred. Advanced degree (MBA or MS) and related Aerospace experience preferable but not required. All candidates must meet the US persons criteria. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
