About the Role We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Core Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and technical expertise. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Respond to service calls and provide timely, effective solutions. Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs, and recommendations. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification preferred). Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety standards. Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex electrical problems. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills Journeyman or Master Electrician license. Experience with residential and/or commercial systems. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and varying weather conditions. Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods. Work Environment On‑site at customer locations (residential, commercial, or industrial). May require evening, weekend, or on‑call work.
