Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Architecting and implementing next-generation infrastructure platforms, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will develop scalable systems across hybrid environments while driving automation and operational excellence in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Research, architect, and deploy complex infrastructure systems across bare-metal servers, hypervisors, orchestrators, and containerized environments Design and implement automation using Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration Management principles to enhance deployment speed and consistency Establish and maintain infrastructure standards and documentation to support scalability, reliability, and compliance Required qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Datacenter Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering with expertise in Linux/Unix systems Proven success in designing and managing hybrid cloud and traditional infrastructure platforms at scale Hands-on experience with automation, configuration management, and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins Proficiency with observability and monitoring platforms like Grafana, ELK, and DataDog Programming experience in languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript Virtual Vocations Inc
