Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, CA, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a 212-bed acute care hospital
• Performs diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, and circulates procedures
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00–17:30
• Weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• On-call required: weeknights and weekends from 17:30–07:00 (Friday 17:30 through Monday 07:00)
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required (hard requirement)
• Experience with diagnostic cardiac cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, and circulating procedures required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be accommodated
• RTO must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; post-submission or post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• RN scrub color is navy blue
• 13-week contract
