Litigation Staff Attorney (5-8 yrs)

Our client, a nationally respected Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a team‑oriented Staff Attorney to join its Litigation group in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid‑level litigation attorney who enjoys hands‑on case work and collaboration within a high‑performing team environment. Key Responsibilities Draft pleadings, motions, and dispositive motions Support and help manage complex discovery in large‑scale matters Prepare for and participate in depositions and court appearances Conduct legal research and develop case strategy alongside litigation teams Qualifications J.D. required with strong academic credentials 5–8 years of litigation experience (targeting class years 2017–2020) Experience in federal court strongly preferred Demonstrated strength in legal research, writing, and analysis Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $175,000 – $225,000 Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with firm contributions Paid time off and holidays Life and disability insurance Bonus eligibility This role offers the opportunity to work within a nationally recognized platform known for its collaborative culture, strong litigation practice, and long‑term career stability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
