Position OverviewRestore Wellness Physical Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and licensed full-time Physical Therapist to become an integral part of our care team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with patients to restore their mobility and enhance their quality of life. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and providing ongoing support to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment where patients feel empowered in their healing journey, and where our team works collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for every individual.Work EnvironmentOur rehabilitation facility operates with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, emphasizing teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced lifestyle. The onsite setting provides a hands-on approach to patient rehabilitation, enabling direct interaction and immediate feedback during therapy sessions.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations to determine patient needs, limitations, and objectives.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on enhancing mobility, managing pain, and improving strength.Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and education on body mechanics.Maintain a patient load that allows for high-quality care, averaging one patient per hour.Document all patient interactions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and facility procedures.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to optimize patient recovery pathways.Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.Stay updated with best practices and new developments in physical therapy through continuous education and training.Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and rehabilitation after injury. You will tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the diverse needs of a varied patient demographic, including active adults seeking to return to their pre-injury lifestyles. You will also engage with patients dealing with age-related mobility issues, ensuring they maintain their independence and quality of life.QualificationsMust hold a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is required.Candidates must have no history of board or disciplinary actions against their license.Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.Experience in implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that improve patient outcomes.Demonstrated ability to create and execute individualized fitness and wellness programs.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 120,000 and 130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
