Modernizing Child Welfare Information SystemThe project involves modernizing the child welfare information system environment through the implementation of a Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). The initiative includes consolidating data from 87 county databases into a centralized data lake for a new solution. The role will focus on Azure Databases and Data Lakes, with emphasis on the Data Lakehouse and its integrated data reserves.Participate in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and potentially ongoing support of Azure Databases and Data Lakes.Administer, maintain, and secure data to ensure efficient and reliable data storage solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and support data-driven decision-making.Implement best practices for data security and integrity in Azure environments.Provide mentorship to other Database Engineers.The work is expected to be done remotely or in a hybrid model at specified offices.This request is for one full-time staff augmentation resource. Each vendor is allowed to submit one resource for consideration.Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. The State reserves the right to remove a resource from consideration if unavailable for interview as requested.Anticipated Project Start Date: September 21, 2026Anticipated End Date: June 21, 2027The State retains the option to extend the work order in increments determined by the State.
