Anderson Plant Anderson Plant 4665 Liberty Highway Anderson, SC 29621, USA Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, a global leading manufacture of performance fabrics, is currently seeking a Special Fiber Operator. Responsible for operating an individual fiber unit consisting of Opening, Carding, Drawing (Breaker and Finisher), and Roving equipment. The purpose of this position is to produce a high-quality Roving sliver for use in the Spinning Process. When you join Glen Raven, you play a critical role and your input matters. As we weave connections around the world, we become stronger and keep our focus on shared success. ** The hours for this job are 7pm – 7am on a 2-2-3 schedule with a pay rate of $19.85 per hour, including the shift premium** Responsibilities: Follow company policies and safe work practices to prevent injury to yourself and other associates Immediately correct unsafe behaviors and immediately correct/report any unsafe work condition Immediately report any work‑related injury to your Shift Leader. Responsible for performing all the duties of a tying operator: transporting and installing warps, framing warps, leasing warps, tie warps and starting up warps (smashing).
