Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with call and holiday coverage | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases across service lines including General, Urology, Spine, GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, Breast, and Robotics
• Ensure availability of supplies, timeliness of cases, and accurate maintenance of physician preference cards
• Communicate with patient families and supervise personnel involved in delivering patient care
• Float between campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• AHCA Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
• Experience with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple OR service lines including Robotics and Spine
• Comfort with scrub and circulator roles in a high-volume surgical environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying surgical teams and campus environments
