Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Includes call and holiday coverage | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning of patient care within the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and facility policies
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases across multiple service lines including General, Urology, Spine, GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, Breast, and Robotics
• Ensure availability of appropriate supplies, maintain timeliness of cases, and update physician preference cards
• Communicate with patient families and supervise personnel involved in delivering patient care
• Float between campuses as needed to support operational requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• AHCA Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
• Experience with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical service lines (e.g., Robotics, Spine, Orthopedics)
• Familiarity with scrub and circulator roles in a high-volume surgical environment
• Experience floating between multiple facilities or campuses
