You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time / Day Shift Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime Tue 07:15 AM - 02:15 PM Wed 07:15 AM - 02:15 PM Thur 07:15 AM - 02:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or site concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations. Complete routine logs, incident reports, and other assigned documentation related to daily activities, observations, and/or response actions. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
