We are hiring a Quality Technician to join a manufacturing team producing insulated panels. This position will be responsible for inspecting finished and in-process products to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications.
Candidates should have previous quality inspection or quality control experience in a manufacturing environment. Training will be provided on the specific products, processes, and quality standards used at the facility.
Responsibilities- Perform quality inspections on insulated panels throughout the manufacturing process
- Inspect products for proper dimensions, workmanship, and overall quality
- Accurately use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify measurements
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or products that fall outside specifications
- Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns to production
- Follow established quality procedures and safety standards
- Learn product-specific inspection requirements through hands-on training
- Previous Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
- Ability to accurately read measurements and verify specifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
- Dependable attendance and willingness to learn new processes
- Rotating 1st and 2nd shifts
- Must be flexible and able to work both shifts as required by the rotation
