Starting salary is $23.00/hr with a scale based on experience. We also offer a $4.00 differential for nights and weekends plus a great benefits package. The Paramedic performs a variety of functions associated with the delivery of ALS pre-hospital emergency care and routine ambulance transfers including the provision of care during inter-facility transports as the primary provider of care under the Maine EMS Paramedic Inter-facility Transport Program, or as a member of the multi-disciplinary patient care team should the patient’s condition warrant this team approach to patient care. Personnel with this position designation are required to maintain specialized education and provide the highest quality level of medical care to their patients, customers and communities.
