Outpatient Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate, develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delegating and directing therapy services, designing functional treatment programs that facilitate effective returns to community activities, and serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment for students and participate in the student program as appropriate.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education activities.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations, and maintain ethical conduct in all professional matters.
• Promote a culture of patient and employee safety and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid state licensure for practicing physical therapy.

Schedule

This position offers a 5x8.0 schedule with 40 hours per week and is a 6-month contract position starting August 10th.
