Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Neuro-Progressive Care (Stepdown) unit setting
• Monitor and assess neurological patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific protocols throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU nursing
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
• Must successfully complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code
• Must meet travel candidate eligibility requirements (local candidates from ineligible counties will not be considered)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a neuro or progressive care setting
• Familiarity with neurological patient populations and stepdown-level acuity
