AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER ADMINISTRATOR

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an accomplished, entrepreneurial, and results-driven Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Administrator to lead a rapidly growing and aggressive Joint Commission Accredited healthcare organization in  San Antonio, Texas .

The successful candidate will be an experienced healthcare executive with a proven track record of leading a Texas-based ambulatory surgery center, driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, improving financial performance, and maintaining exceptional standards for patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality, and physician satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of progressive ASC leadership experience, be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and possess significant clinical leadership experience with strength in Risk Management and Case Management.

The Administrator will have intimate working knowledge of ASC billing, reimbursement, payer contracting, insurance processes, revenue cycle management, financial systems, and healthcare economics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas required.

• Additional graduate-level education in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or a related field is desirable.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center environment.

• Significant leadership experience within a Texas-based ASC required.

• Demonstrated experience in executive or senior administrative leadership.

• Proven experience managing clinical operations, financial performance, staffing, quality, compliance, and physician relationships.

• Strong background in Risk Management and Case Management.

• Demonstrated experience with ASC billing, reimbursement, insurance, revenue cycle, and payer processes.

• Experience developing and managing operating and capital budgets.

• Demonstrated success developing leaders and high-performing teams.
