Quality Specialist

\- Evaluates daily production to determine quality compliance results.
-Ensures accurate count of incoming raw material through physical count.
-Counts and sorts in-process and finished product to identify rework requirements and scrap and documents results, accordingly.
-Calibrates and maintains measuring devices (gauges); performs gauge capability studies; maintains inspection equipment in quality lab.

-Individual should be able to exercise sound judgment, be able to plan, be well-organized, have strong oral and written communication skills, work well under pressure, exercise initiative, flexibility and cooperation. The individual should be accurate and timely.
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals – ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages and create and interpret corresponding SPC (Statistical Process Control) charts, graphs, blueprints and drawings – basic computer skills: Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
-Must complete math test
-High School diploma or equivalent and 3 years manufacturing experience.
