What You'll Do Assisting veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians during examinations and treatments Safely restraining dogs and cats for medical procedures Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas Collecting patient histories and recording medical information accurately Performing laboratory sample collection and assisting with diagnostics Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring recovery under supervision Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining medical equipment Administering medications and treatments as directed Educating pet owners on preventive care and home care instructions Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment Working closely with teammates to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Has previous veterinary assistant experience (preferred) Is comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Has strong attention to detail and organizational skills Is dependable, positive, and eager to learn Is passionate about providing compassionate care for every patient Why Join Embassy Veterinary Center?
