It's also the teamwork, care, cleanliness, and attention to detail happening behind the scenes.We're Looking for Someone Who:Takes pride in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized work environmentIs dependable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchenCan understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructionsHandles china, glassware, and kitchen equipment carefully to minimize breakageUnderstands the importance of sanitation, safety, and proper use of cleaning productsIs comfortable standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shiftWorks well as part of a team and is willing to assist other employees and departments as neededIs flexible and willing to complete cleaning and kitchen-support responsibilities as assignedWhat You'll DoAs a Dishwasher, you'll provide the restaurant and kitchen with clean and sanitary dishware, cookware, utensils, and equipment while helping maintain a safe and orderly kitchen environment.Responsibilities include:Gather, rinse, sort, and rack dirty dishware for washingOperate the commercial dishwashing machine safely and according to established proceduresMonitor and properly use dishwashing detergents, chemicals, and cleaning solutionsUnload, inspect, and properly store clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipmentManually scrub pots, pans, and kitchen equipment that cannot be washed in the dish machinePolish silver, stainless steel, and other food-service equipment as neededKeep the dish room clean and orderly by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping equipment and counters, and organizing shelvesMop kitchen floors and clean designated kitchen work surfaces and equipment as requestedGather and remove trash from kitchen work areas and transport it to designated disposal areasHelp keep loading dock and kitchen entrance areas clean and free of litter and debrisAssist with unloading, transporting, sorting, and storing deliveries when neededProvide assistance to other employees and departments to support the overall operationPerform other duties as assignedThe Ideal Candidate Is:Able to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructionsCareful and attentive when handling dishes, glassware, and fragile equipmentComfortable working around commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning productsAble to stay organized and productive in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environmentDependable, team-oriented, and willing to assist wherever neededPrevious dishwashing or restaurant experience is helpful, but not requiredScheduleFlexible schedule based on restaurant and business needsScheduled days and times may vary based on business needsAvailability for evenings, weekends, and holidays may be requiredPhysical RequirementsStanding/Mobility: Standing, walking, and carrying throughout the shift in a hot kitchen and dishwashing environmentLifting/Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the shiftBending/Reaching: Ability to bend, squat, reach, and retrieve items from above the headPushing/Pulling: Ability to push, pull, and move dish racks, carts, and large trash binsDexterity: Finger, hand, and upper-body dexterity to grasp dishes and safely operate equipmentEnvironment: Regular exposure to heat, moisture, commercial kitchen equipment, and cleaning chemicalsWhy You'll Love Working HereJazzboline is more than a restaurant - it's part of a hospitality campus built around memorable experiences, genuine service, and a team that takes pride in what we do.You'll work alongside a collaborative culinary and hospitality team where every role matters.
