Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

Location: Hackensack, NJ
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Pay Rate:

• Local: $65–$68/Hour (Based on Experience)
• Travel: $69–$72/Hour (Based on Experience)
  Local & Travel Candidates: Accepted

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care and assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The RN will assess patients, coordinate individualized care plans, perform nursing interventions, and ensure safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Assist physicians during Cath Lab procedures and provide therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Circulate during procedures and monitor patient condition.
• Support cardiac procedures including PCI, right and left heart catheterization, and pacemaker insertion.
• Assist with Impella and balloon pump procedures.
• Document patient care accurately according to nursing standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and patient-centered care.

Requirements

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active NJ RN License or Compact License required.
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Cath Lab experience with circulating nurse responsibilities required.
• Experience with EPIC, Mac-LAB, and Sensis highly preferred.
• Experience with Impella, balloon pump, PCI, right heart cath, and left heart cath required.
• Experience with pacemaker insertion and pulmonary embolism cases preferred.
• Critical care experience highly preferred.
