Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a rewarding travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled RN with a passion for maternal health care to join a dynamic environment at a level 1 trauma and level 3 perinatal center. The role requires proficiency in managing high-risk obstetric patients and providing exceptional care during both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide exceptional nursing care to pregnant patients, including high-risk cases
• Manage vaginal and cesarean deliveries with proficiency
• Circulate during cesarean sections and recover patients in PACU
• Administer and titrate medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips
• Operate within AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios
• Collaborate with OB and neonatologists to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Active IL RN license or evidence of application process initiated
• Minimum of 2 years L&D experience preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS, Advanced AWHONN EFM
• Experience with high-risk OB patient care and EFM systems like Epic Stork
