Pay $68.07 - $71.83 per hour Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Description EDU-AIDs LLC is partnering with a top school district in Rensselaer, IN to hire an on-site School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to children of Preschool, elementary and high school ages. This School Psychologist will provide counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the regular student population (treating mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, conduct disorders) to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development. Responsibilities Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, and provide individual and group counseling to address emotional and behavioral issues. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed, and coordinate outreach activities that support students and families, including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and agencies such as DCF, DMH, etc. Assignment Details Start date: August 5, 2026 End date: May 22, 2027 Full-time: 35-40 hours a week Grades: Preschool – Elementary – High School Location: Rensselaer, IN Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology State Certification and / or Licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working in a School Setting Certified School Psychologist as per state law of Indiana Preferred Requirements Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations. Additional Information School assignments are typically nine months in length but can vary depending on the length of the contract and school calendar.
