Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Labor & Delivery unit position requiring recent OB experience in a large, busy teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in the M7 Birth unit assisting with C-Sections and related gynecological procedures
• Assist RNs with unit duties, setup, and breakdown when not scrubbed in
• 8-hour rotating shifts on a 2-week schedule pattern, Monday to Sunday
• 40 hours per week with shift hours from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No block schedules available

Requirements

• AHA BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Recent OB experience required in a busy, large (500+ bed) teaching hospital setting
• Must be able to scrub C-Sections and related gynecological procedures
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Assist with surgical procedures and general unit support in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions with scheduled start dates
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible near the facility
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during winter months (November through April)
• Accepts local candidates
• Radius-based pay tiers apply based on direct-line mileage from the facility
