Regional Director – LoopNet (Chicago, IL) Join CoStar Group as a Regional Director for LoopNet, our flagship commercial real‑estate marketplace. In this role you will lead and grow a high‑performing sales team, building relationships with brokers and owners while advancing LoopNet’s digital advertising and marketing solutions. Position Overview As a regional leader, you will develop, train, and coach a team of sales professionals, manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth in the Chicago market. The role includes field presence, client acquisition, account expansion, and operational oversight of sales activities. Responsibilities Recruit, hire, motivate, and develop a high‑performing sales team to meet or exceed quota. Spend 3–4 days per week in the field, conducting client calls and providing coaching. Drive regional and team revenue growth, consistently meeting or surpassing annual sales targets. Identify, prioritize, and secure new client relationships while retaining and expanding existing accounts. Monitor sales performance and hold team members accountable for activity and client engagement. Manage weekly team activities, including attendance at CoStar offices, coaching sessions, and use of Enterprise CRM for pipeline tracking. Set individual and team performance goals aligned with business objectives and address performance issues promptly. Mentor and develop team members to support professional growth. Promote and reinforce CoStar Group’s culture and values across the team. Travel to regional offices as required—up to 50%. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience directly managing 5–10 sales professionals in commercial real‑estate or digital advertising/marketing. Proven track record of selling in a highly transactional, consultative environment with a short cycle‑time model. Responsible for a book of business exceeding $1 million in annual revenue. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Valid driver’s license and successful driving record check. Internal applicants must have 5+ years of sales experience and 18+ months at a CoStar Sales Executive level or higher. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Deep knowledge of commercial real‑estate markets. Ability to build long‑term client relationships and grow territories through new client acquisition and existing account growth. Strong internal and external relationship‑building skills. Experience retaining proven sales producers and managing non‑producers. Ability to travel 25–30 %. Adaptability to change in a high‑growth environment.
