People like you!/ppJob Summary: Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Loader / Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, particularly in forklift operation, and the ability to work from a pick list to locate and move materials accurately./ppCompensation: $21.87/hr/ppBenefits/pulliHealth Insurance (includes teledoc, virtual health, FSA, HCSA other benefits)/liliDental Insurance/liliVision Insurance/liliLife Insurance/liliHealth Spending Account/liliEmployee Support and Mental Wellness/liliShort term disability/lili401k Match/liliPaid vacation/liliFloating days/liliEmployee Assistance Program/liliEmployee Engagement Events/liliAwards and Recognition/liliTuition Reimbursement/liliService Awards/liliEmployee Perks Discounts/li/ulpJob Responsibilities/pulliSafely operate a sit-down forklift with a valid certification./liliWork outdoors in various weather conditions./liliCommunicate with drivers to ensure accurate and safe loading/unloading./liliUse pick lists to locate materials in the yard or warehouse./liliIdentify product locations using signage and apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles./liliDirect truck drivers to appropriate loading/unloading areas./liliSupport other shipping and scale house duties as needed./liliUnderstand and follow railcar unloading procedures, Trackmobile operation, and railroad safety./liliAdhere to all IKO safety policies and procedures./li/ulpQualifications/pulliRequired: Able to work flexible, production shifts 8/10/12 hours/liliMinimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience preferred/liliComfortable with working in a dusty environment/liliManual dexterity and attention to detail/liliFluent in verbal and written English/liliAbility to follow direction and specific instructions/liliGood communication skills/liliAble to pass forklift certification class and test./liliAble to read and interpret pick lists./liliWilling to work overtime, including weekends./liliMust pass a fit-for-duty physical./liliCapable of lifting up to 76 lbs unassisted./liliHigh school diploma or GED required./liliLegally authorized to work in the U.S./li/ulpBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
