At the heart of the platform is the assessment engine that evaluates, verifies, and continuously measures the expertise of tens of thousands of professionals worldwide. As a Full Stack Engineer on the Assessment team, you'll build the systems that combine AI-powered evaluation with human judgment, creating scalable assessment experiences that directly influence how the world's leading AI organizations identify and engage top talent.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs powering a large-scale AI-assisted assessment platform.


• Own product features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through deployment and continuous improvement.


• Build scalable evaluation pipelines that combine human expertise with AI-powered scoring and decision-making.


• Develop candidate-facing and expert-facing product experiences using modern frontend technologies.


• Partner closely with Product, AI, and Data teams to translate assessment research into production-ready systems.


• Improve platform reliability, performance, observability, and operational efficiency across assessment infrastructure.


• Design data models and backend architecture supporting high-throughput evaluation workflows.


• Leverage modern AI development tools to accelerate engineering productivity while maintaining high software quality.


• Continuously iterate on product experiences based on user feedback and business outcomes.


• Help shape the future of AI-powered talent evaluation at global scale.

Ideal Background

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.


• Strong backend engineering fundamentals, including API design, distributed systems, relational databases, and scalable backend architecture.


• Experience building full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.


• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, debugging, performance optimization, and code quality.


• Excellent product instincts with a passion for building user-facing software.


• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with evolving priorities.


• Experience owning projects independently from concept through production deployment.


• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar.


• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to product development.

Preferred

• Experience building or integrating LLM-powered features into production applications.


• Background developing workflow systems, evaluation platforms, marketplaces, or productivity software.


• Experience designing data models supporting AI-powered applications.


• Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven backend architectures.


• Startup experience with significant product ownership and rapid iteration cycles.


• Strong interest in AI infrastructure, machine learning applications, and developer productivity.


• Experience working closely with product managers, researchers, and cross-functional engineering teams.


• High ownership mindset with a passion for shipping impactful products quickly and reliably.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000–$400,000.
