You'll join our collaborative, forward-thinking marketing team, building content that performs across traditional search and owned channels today, with an eye toward generative AI platforms as that landscape matures. You'll operate across the full content spectrum: foundational SEO, long-form B2B writing, and structured content built to hold up well no matter how people find it. We're scaling our content function and looking for someone who treats content like a system, not a series of one-off posts. Your primary audience is B2B: restaurant operators, catering directors, and restaurant brand leaders making decisions about delivery. You know how to shift voice, adjust framing, and meet each reader where they are. Production in this role means building, not just writing. You'll be expected to construct pages in our CMS, create social graphics from brand templates, and produce one-pagers and sales collateral. If you need someone else to execute everything you write, this isn't the right fit. Core Responsibilities Lead keyword research, search intent mapping, and content planning for traditional SEO across the DeliverThat website and content hubs Perform in-depth query, platform, and competitor analysis to uncover demand and emerging opportunities Build content with the structure and clarity that performs well in search today and positions us to grow into AEO/GEO as that becomes a bigger priority for the business Creation & Production Translate research and insights into actionable content briefs for yourself and collaborators Write and edit high-quality content across formats: case studies, blog articles, landing pages, newsletters, campaign copy, and sales enablement materials Maintain a consistent brand voice across B2B operators, ecosystem partners, and driver-facing content Build content that answers the questions our buyers are actually asking, written clearly enough to hold up well wherever it's found We're looking for someone who thinks in systems, not single assets. A strong case study, webinar, or research piece shouldn't live and die as one blog post. If you can look at one strong asset and immediately see five different ways it could show up across our channels, that instinct is core to this role. Experience & Qualifications We care more about what you've built and how you think than where you went to school. The strongest candidates will bring: Proven experience in content strategy in a B2B industry, SaaS or restaurant tech preferred Strong SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimization, search intent mapping, content architecture Exceptional writing across formats, long-form and short-form, with the ability to shift voice for different audiences without losing brand coherence Proficiency in keyword research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent) and content performance analytics Experience working with existing branding and messaging. We're looking to build upon a strong foundation Analytical instincts: you define content success in business outcomes, not output volume or vanity engagement A track record of repurposing one strong content asset into multiple smaller, channel-specific pieces Nice to Haves Background in B2B SaaS, delivery/logistics, or restaurant technology Experience writing for independent contractor audiences Familiarity with AEO/GEO concepts, structured data, or optimizing content for AI generated answers Experience working with podcast content teams, show notes optimization, and familiarity with multimedia editorial workflows Experience working in brand with external agency partners, who we value as teammates, not resources What This Role Is Not This is not social media management role. While social media is a tactic in our toolbox, we're not looking for someone to build or run TikTok/Instagram content calendars. This is not a "content creator" position, and we are not a lifestyle brand. Respect and admiration to the art, this just isn't the role. This is not a junior writing role. You'll be doing strategic, research-backed work, not just generating posts on request. Writing samples or a portfolio are expected.
