Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of independent ER scanning experience for an overnight CT department role requiring ARRT and NYS licensure.
Details
- CT department at a hospital campus
- Overnight shift schedule, 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday
- Midnight technologist works independently from 10 PM to 7 AM with an imaging aide available for patient transport and movement
- Must be able to scan independently and perform all CT exams for ER patients, excluding specialty scans such as virtual colonoscopy and cardiac CT
- Uses Siemens Definition AS CT scanner, Epic EMR, and Visage PACS system
- Christmas holiday coverage preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT certification required
- NYS license required if applicable
- NYS license to inject required if applicable
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Must be fully competent performing independent CT scans on ER patients
Additional Information
- Perform CT scans independently for ER patients across a wide range of exam types
- Collaborate with an imaging aide during overnight hours for patient transport and positioning
- Radius requirement of 75 miles applies to this location
- Local candidates are not accepted at this location
