Registered Nurse - NICU - Nights

Job Overview Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80. Pay determined by expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Location: Naperville, IL. Full Time – 36 hours per week. Shift: Nights 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, rotating weekends and holidays required. Facility: Level III NICU, 35-bed unit with family-centered care and single-room setup. Occasional floating into Pediatrics/PICU, SCN, Mother-Baby units. Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 for candidates with at least 18 months of experience in NICU clinical specialty (subject to eligibility). Travel: Occasional floating into other units. What You Will Do Provide professional nursing care according to the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and procedures. Employ critical-thinking skills to assess patients’ condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations. Delegate appropriate patient-care tasks to other staff. Function as a team member to fulfill unit goals. What You Will Need Associate Degree or higher in Nursing. If Associate Degree is highest, graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1 2021). Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through AHA. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of start date. NICU experience highly preferred.
