Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years current Critical Care experience License: Massachusetts RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Vent, ICP Monitoring, and Hemodynamic Monitoring experience - IV qualifications - Active Trauma Nursing Core Course/TNCC certification (preferred) - Active Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization Course (PEARS) certification (preferred) - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred) - Must have own vehicle Description: A registered nurse is required for a critical care position. The candidate must function independently under general guidance and follow unit-specific guidelines and protocols. Duties include independent action, judgment, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills in providing patient care. The position requires maintaining emotional stability in emergency settings. The unit consists of 20 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Personal scrubs of any color are allowed. Applicants must include any requested time off during the assignment and submit it during application. Time off requests after submission will not be approved. A maximum of 5 days of time off will be accepted. Profiles submitted must include work history, skills checklist relevant to the position, and supervisory signed reference from within the last two years of employment. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, as requests after acceptance may lead to rescinded offers. Candidates will be required to complete a non-billable orientation of 8 hours. Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required.
