Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lufkin, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry RN Remote Location. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in a medical surgical telemetry unit. The position requires working within a virtual integrated care nursing model, providing high-quality nursing services, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Job Details Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS certification, minimum of 3 years of experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing. Preferred Qualifications: Great communication and time management skills. Responsibilities include monitoring patients with Cpap, Bipap, and high flow therapy; reading strips; and providing comprehensive patient care across telemedicine platform. Willingness to wait for license submission. Floating to all medical-surgical units may be required. Department orientation provided; experience in acute care settings preferred. Shift hours are 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotations including every other weekend and holidays.
