Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform general radiography and fluoroscopy imaging for patients across the age spectrum.
Details
- Performs CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
- Cares for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
- Day shift options include 7am-5:30pm, 8am-6:30pm, or 9am-7:30pm
Requirements
- ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
- Advanced certification in CT modality required in OR and HI
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable, including state RT license where applicable
- Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment, per state requirements
- Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials, per state requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last three months
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care throughout the imaging process
- Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
- Ensures integrity of patient images and data in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
- Performs routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manages supply inventory
- Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
- Local candidates accepted at travel rate with no radius restriction
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior licensure issue will not be considered
