# Job Opportunity – Progressive Critical Care Unit RN – New York

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albany, New York

Schedule: Progressive Critical Care Unit assignment with average patient load of 3 high acuity patients

• Care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients including respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, and complex traumas
• Epic EMR experience required
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring including pressor titration protocols, antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcotic infusions, and thrombolytics
• Manage arterial lines, central venous pressure monitoring, external ventricular drains, orthopedic traction, and respiratory support including HFNC and BiPap/CPAP
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission
• Ideal candidates have extensive adult PCU experience or community hospital ICU background

• Active New York RN license (or eligible)
• Epic EMR experience mandatory
• ACLS certification required
• Competency in medical and surgical patient populations
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring skills and critical care experience
• Experience with pressor management, vasoactive drips, and infection prevention protocols
• Must complete competency testing within 24 hours of submission
