Travel Nursing Assistant

Position: Travel CNA Location: Honolulu, HI Pay: $40/hour Experience: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state of Hawaii. Recent education or clinical hours required. Type: Full-time; Contract Schedule: Evening and Night Shifts Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Travel Nursing Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description: Provide direct resident care focused on comfort and dignity. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Maintain a clean and safe environment, following fall-prevention protocols. Work collaboratively with nursing and care teams to ensure seamless patient care. Support documentation and charting through PointClickCare systems. Follow all facility procedures for clocking in/out and submitting accurate time records. Comply with facility protocols for callouts, meal breaks, and ID usage. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and infection control procedures. Position Requirements: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing. Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English. Proficient in documenting care and using electronic medical record systems. Knowledge of patient safety and hygiene best practices. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
