Muskegon, MI, 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday–Thursday), $17 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us create high-quality, precision-formed metal components for a leading custom fabrication company specializing in laser cutting, welding, and tool design.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Press Brake Operator , your core responsibilities will include:
Machine Operation: Load and operate Press Brake machines to form metal parts according to blueprints and production specifications.
Quality Control: Use micrometers, calipers, and measuring tools to inspect parts and ensure accuracy and quality.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical or production issues to maintain a smooth workflow.
In addition, you will also be expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meet production goals, and contribute to a safe and organized workspace.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
1+ year of experience operating Press Brake machines preferred
Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, and calipers
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate Press Brake machinery with precision and follow blueprints accurately.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and adjust machinery to maintain consistent production quality.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet quotas and maintain workflow.
