26007657 Registered Nurse, RN (Full Time-Days) – PACU Main Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Frisco 12400 N Dallas Parkway TX 75033 Work hours: Full Time – 36 Hours; Days; Three 12-hour shifts or four 9-hour shifts per week. Scheduled shifts may be 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM, including on-call requirements PACU Highlights Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Fast-Paced, high-volume department The professional nurse exhibits an understanding of basic human needs. The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of the patient’s affiliations. Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program BSN preferred RN PACU experience highly preferred In lieu of PACU experience, two years of ICU experience as a RN strongly preferred RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Upon Hire Pref And What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
