Manufacturing SupervisorIMG - Livermore, an Ichor Systems company, has 2 immediate openings for Manufacturing Supervisors located in Livermore, CA. The Manufacturing Supervisor will manage shift operations, coordinate workflows, review production requirements, and ensure production goals are met.Shifts are: M-F Swing 1:00pm - 9:30pm and Fri-Sun 6am to 6:30pmResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of CNC machinists, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.Communicate with lead workers, planners, engineers, and quality departments as necessary to review status of jobs and prioritiesFacilitate a smooth transition of work and products between shifts and among work groupsReview product prints, material lists, bill of materials and such to determine production methods and identify needs and requirementsAnticipate, follow up and resolves problems, material shortages and equipment repairsEstimate personnel needs and assign work to meet objectivesRead and follow blueprint specificationsCollaborate with engineering and quality to ensure all standards are metBalance capacity to demandKnowledge of consumables tools, and equipmentManage staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and improve staffEnsure compliance with wage and hour regulations, all company policies, and programsQualifications3-4+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or related work experience including leading teams. Semiconductor, aerospace, or defense industry a plusCNC Machining experience, preferredB.S. or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experienceThorough familiarity with manufacturing operations in semiconductor, aerospace, or defense industriesAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgmentExcellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated people skills with the ability to evaluate, coach, and motivate employeesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with an ERP system, MS Office suiteAbility to sit, stand, walk, and bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyWork EnvironmentManufacturing environment setting has some exposure to noise, dust, coolants, and temperature variations.Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Work performed in accordance with AS9100, ISO9001:2015, NADCAP requirements (as appliable), and company quality standardsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and operate machine controls.Ability to visually inspect parts and read precision measuring instruments.For candidates based in California: The pay range for this position is $85,000 - 144,500, per year.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
