Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a team-based care delivery model with bedside RN, LPN, and CNA.
• Float as needed to various departments to support facility staffing requirements.
• Deliver patient care for medical and telemetry patients with acute and chronic illness.
• Manage titratable drips, tracheostomies, and perform complex wound care.
• Provide care to patients requiring high oxygen delivery and end-of-life care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license; pending Nebraska State License accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience in a large urban hospital setting.
• Experience in trauma Level I Academic Medical Center preferred.
• Proficiency in managing cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration.
• Familiarity with team-based care, preferably in a med-surg/tele environment.
