Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior SDET with strong expertise in UI Testing to join a dynamic team at Client. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing robust automated test frameworks and executing comprehensive testing strategies for web applications and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and other UI testing tools.
- Perform UI testing across multiple browsers and platforms to ensure consistent user experience.
- Conduct REST API testing and validate integration points between services.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Execute integration testing to validate end-to-end workflows and system interactions.
- Identify, document, and track bugs; work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of test automation practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 9 years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or similar UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Proficiency in REST API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Solid understanding of integration testing methodologies.
- Experience with test frameworks and scripting languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
