Cafeteria substitutes needed for all schools. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants should have general kitchen skills and be able to lift 40-50 pounds. Must be able to communicate well, get along with a variety of personalities, and be willing to work hard. Apply online. After your application is complete and you click on Finish and Submit, you will be contacted by Lisa Shimels to arrange for completion of hiring documents at the Torrington Public Schools administration offices. Mrs. Shimels will give you documents to arrange for fingerprinting. All substitutes must be fingerprinted (and results of the fingerprint background check must be received by the school district) before substitute assignments are made.
