RESPONSIBILITIES

Viden Marketing is seeking a detail-driven Web & Graphic Designer who excels at producing high-quality, on-brand creative across web, print, and digital channels. This role is perfect for someone with experience in web development using page builders, print production, and quality assurance; someone who thrives in hands-on design work, provides creative leadership and mentorship to other designers, and delivers consistent, polished execution across a wide range of formats.

As a Web & Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating high-impact digital and traditional assets that elevate our clients’ brands, spark consumer engagement, and incite consumer response. You’ll work closely with our media, strategy, and account teams to ensure all creative aligns with campaign objectives and client expectations, while also providing creative leadership and quality assurance across the design team.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

Creative Development & Design Execution

• Design and produce digital ads, social creatives, websites, landing pages, print pieces, and brand assets.
• Design, build, and code landing pages and website sections using HTML/CSS and WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi), ensuring responsive, accessible, and developer-friendly implementation.
• Manage print production processes, including file preparation, color management, prepress checks, and vendor collaboration to ensure quality before deliverables ship.
• Execute high-quality creative that has the power to grab attention and incite response while reflecting client goals and audience insights.
• Translate briefs and performance direction into polished, on-brand visuals.
• Maintain and extend design systems, brand guidelines, and templates to support efficiency and consistency.
• Support senior creative leadership by contributing ideas, concepts, and thoughtful design execution.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Develop and follow timelines to ensure work is completed on schedule.
• Keep design versions, exports, and files well-organized for easy team access.
• Contribute to improve internal creative processes, templates, and workflows.

SKILLS

Creative & Expertise

• Strong eye for design quality, with openness to feedback and a collaborative approach to elevating creative work with the team.
• Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, web, print, and paid media.
• Working proficiency in HTML, CSS, and WordPress page builders, with a growing understanding of UX/UI, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
• Solid understanding of print production, including file preparation, color management, and working with prepress or vendor specifications.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Proficiency in Figma, including working within component libraries and established design systems.
• Solid portfolio demonstrating web/WordPress and print projects, in addition to broader digital advertising and brand development experience.
• Comfort designing for multiple platforms such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, programmatic, responsive web, and print.

• Refine creative direction based on performance insights.
• Strong problem-solving instincts and creative judgment grounded in client objectives.
• Exceptional attention to detail across design execution, typography, layout, brand consistency, and copy accuracy.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, proactively ensuring projects stay on track and nothing falls through the cracks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to maintain quality and consistency throughout the creative process.
• Experience designing for a variety of marketing channels, with knowledge of platform specifications, ad formats, and production requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & BENEFITS

Education & Experience

• BA/BS in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Communications, Advertising, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of professional design experience, including experience reviewing or mentoring other designers, preferably in a deadline-driven environment.
• Well-rounded portfolio specifically highlighting web/WordPress and print projects, in addition to broader digital design work.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional marketing teams.

Location Requirement

• Must be able to work full-time in person at our Minneapolis-based office (near 494 and France Avenue).
