Everything is great: benefits, training, advancement opportunities, understanding, and supportive in all areas.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferredAt least three years of accounting experienceConstruction or engineering accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of job-cost accountingExperience preparing and reviewing work-in-progress schedulesKnowledge of AIA billing processesAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft ExcelExperience with Sage, Procore, Foundations, Viewpoint, or similar construction software is a plusUnderstanding of GAAP and internal accounting controlsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and financial accuracyEffective communication and collaboration skillsAbility to take initiative and manage multiple prioritiesJob Duties:Monitor and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reportsTrack project expenses and prepare monthly job-cost reportsProcess subcontractor invoicesReview and process change orders and progress billingsCollaborate with project managers on budget revisionsPrepare and update cost-to-complete estimatesSet up new projects in the accounting systemEnter project billing terms, cost codes, and related informationManage project accounts receivableFollow up on outstanding customer paymentsPrepare and analyze project-specific financial statementsSupport the monthly close processPerform budget-to-actual and other variance analysesEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and industry regulationsMaintain accurate documentation for audits and contractual requirementsBenefits:Competitive compensation based on experienceMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) optionWork that's respected.
