With a mission to redefine connections, they are poised for significant growth and impact in the industry.What You Will DoDesign and implement scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI to support a growing user base.Develop and maintain robust databases with PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities using OpenAI technologies.Optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP for reliability and efficiency in application deployment.Monitor and troubleshoot backend services to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous improvement.Ideal Candidate Background6+ years of experience in backend engineering, with a strong focus on Python and FastAPI.Proficient in database management, particularly with PostgreSQL.Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Familiarity with AI integration, particularly using OpenAI technologies.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.PreferredExperience with frontend technologies such as React to facilitate better collaboration with frontend teams.Previous work in the consumer tech sector, particularly in applications involving user engagement.Knowledge of best practices in software development and agile methodologies.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this role ranges from $200K to $275K, complemented by competitive equity options between 0.5% and 1%.
