Neurohospitalist opening in Hartford, CT

Position Seeking BE/BC Inpatient Neurologist to join our team in Hartford, CT. Responsibilities 24 weeks of inpatient coverage per year, defined as a full week 7 AM Monday – 7 AM Monday, including a share of evening call coverage Attend general neurology service and/or neurology consult service Examine, diagnose, manage, and treat patients with a variety of neurological disorders Provide inpatient consultation for neurology patients Hands‑on clinical supervision and teaching for residents, students, fellows, and advanced practice providers Teach medical students and residents on bedside rounds for the consult and inpatient services Participate in neurology didactic sessions, Grand Rounds, and other teaching lectures as appropriate Participate in monthly Neurohospitalist Lecture Series May engage in clinical research, quality improvement, patient experience initiatives, resident/faculty interviews, and lectures to professional or public audiences – subject to agreement with faculty and Chief of Neurology Collaborate with other neurologists and hospital staff including medicine hospitalists and attendings on other services, including various ICUs Evaluate and provide consultations/management for patients in the ED and Observation Unit Leadership role opportunity for the right candidate Benefits Highly competitive compensation, incentives, generous paid time off, retirement plans, robust academic and research opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Spencer Britt
